Pond Fisher is a one-button timing game where a duck dives for fish that swim beneath it. It runs right in your browser with nothing to install, on phones and computers alike. Unlike the dodging and steering games on Quackoria, this one is all about waiting for the perfect moment and pressing once.
How to Play
- Press Fish to start. The duck floats at the top and a glowing ring sits in the water below it.
- Fish swim across the pond in three lanes at different depths, and each kind of fish swims at its own speed.
- When a fish is inside the ring, press a key or tap to dive. The ring turns gold when a catch is possible.
- Small fish score 10, medium 25, big 50, and the rare golden fish 100.
- Diving on empty water, a leaf or an old boot costs one of your three lives.
- Catch 5 in a row for double points and 10 in a row for triple. Lose all three lives and the game ends.

Gameplay tips
- Patience costs nothing: a fish that swims through uncaught does not lose a life, but an empty dive does.
- Big fish are slow and worth 50, so they are the safest way to build a streak early on.
- The ring is widest in the middle lane, so fish there stay catchable for longer than fish in the top or bottom lane.
- After a dive the duck needs a moment to surface, so do not tap twice in a hurry or you may miss the next fish.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if I dive and there is no fish?
You lose one of your three lives. Leaves and boots also count as a miss, so only dive when a fish is inside the ring.
How do the streak bonuses work?
Every catch adds to your streak. At 5 in a row every catch is worth double, at 10 in a row triple. A miss resets the streak.
Does the game get harder?
Yes. Fish swim faster and arrive more often the longer you play, and more leaves and boots drift through the ring.
