Spot the Duck
Eight ducks are hiding in every scene — behind reeds, under the jetty, in plain sight. Find them all before the clock runs out, and learn a real breed name with each one.

Spot the Duck is a hidden-object game drawn entirely with code, so every scene loads instantly with nothing to install. It runs in the browser on a phone or a laptop. Unlike the other Quackoria games it is a search rather than a race: nine real breeds — Mallard, Pekin, Khaki Campbell, Cayuga, Indian Runner, Rouen, Call duck, Muscovy and Welsh Harlequin — appear in their own colours and shapes, and each one is named when you find it.
How to Play
- Press Find to open the first scene: a pond, a farmyard, a park or a marsh at dusk.
- Look for the eight ducks hidden in the picture. Some are tiny, some are partly behind things, one or two are in plain view.
- Tap or click a duck to find it. A ring appears, the counter ticks up, and the duck is labelled with a real breed name.
- A wrong tap costs three seconds. Each duck is worth 10 points. Find all eight to bank two points for every second left and move to the next scene.
- The game ends when a scene's sixty seconds run out. Your best score is kept on this device.

Gameplay tips
- Scan the edges and the far distance first: the smallest ducks hide there.
- Ducks are coloured to match their breed — a black Cayuga hides best in the dusk marsh, a white Pekin in the farmyard's hay.
- Every wrong tap costs three seconds, so look twice and tap once.
- The scenes repeat, but the ducks move to new hiding places every time.

Frequently asked questions
How many ducks are in each scene?
Eight, always. The counter in the corner shows how many you have found.
Are the ducks in the same place each time?
No. The four scenes come round again, but the ducks take new hiding places every round.
Are the breed names real?
Yes. Each found duck is labelled with one of nine real domestic and wild breeds, drawn in that breed's colours — the breed pages in Quackoria Learn go into each one.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes. The arrow keys move a crosshair and Space taps where it is.
